I'm heavily invested (time, talent and treasure) in a DFW startup called CourMed®. Our leadership team encourages our drivers to provide exceptional customer service at delivery because the person on the other side of the door may need to be encouraged.
We don't know every patient or may not even know every driver personally. The one thing we do know is that everything in their life is not on 10. The message of encouragement can save a life. I know because it saved mine....
Every quarter we give away a custom pair of AirMax to the CourMed driver with the highest customer rating. Each shoe has a name to serve as a constant reminder to encourage others:
