Fortnight Concert Series Angels Gate Cultural Center

Angels Gate Cultural Center will be co-sponsoring the Fortnight Concert Series, a four-night event featuring an array of musical talents in the access tunnel leading to the Leary gun battery. Harold Greene, an Angels Gate Cultural Center (AGCC) founding artist, and Frank Rodriguez, an AGCC resident artist, will be hosting the series every other Friday starting September 7th at 7 pm.
The concert venue is a hundred year old access tunnel on the AGCC campus. Holding the Fortnight Concert Series midway through the underground tunnel provides musical and vocal guest artists a uniquely intimate space with marvelous acoustics. This is truly an underground concert event.
Harold Greene will create music on the fly, with the aid of a loop pedal and an assortment of percussion implements, opening the concert series on September 7th. Chuck Alavarez, a San Pedro based guitarist/singer/
The Tunnel opens at 7pm for a "meet and greet" with the artists, followed by a 7:30pm -9:30pm program, which includes a 20-minute intermission.
Tickets are $30 for each performance and can only be purchased in advance. Tickets for the full series are available for $100 per person.

Angels Gate Cultural Center is open to the public, Monday through Friday 10 am to 5pm and Saturday 1pm to 6pm. Admission is always free.
