QUINCY, Mass. - Sept. 6, 2018 - PRLog -- Peak Physical Therapy & Sports Performance, a South Shore practice specializing in unique programs that provide comprehensive treatment in orthopedic, spine and sports medicine specialties, is pleased to announce that Sarah Hanson, PT, DPT, CLT of Dorchester, Massachusetts, has joined the firm as a staff Physical Therapist in the Quincy location.

Hanson brings extensive experience in treating a variety of orthopedic conditions including post-operative care, sports rehab, and spine care. She is a certified lymphedema therapist and certified in Graston Technique; her proficiency in lymphedema management will establish yet another service offered at the practice.

Prior to joining Peak, she worked at two other outpatient clinics on the South Shore.

Hanson, who earned a Doctorate of Physical Therapy from Northeastern University, is on the Board of Directors at the Andrew James Lawson Foundation.  The Foundation was recently formed in memory of her brother and was established to encourage the inclusion of people with intellectual and developmental disabilities in their communities.

In June of 2017 her family was inducted in to the MA Special Olympics Hall of Fame.

Originally from Norwell, Massachusetts, Hanson now lives in Dorchester with her husband.  She is an avid skier, beach-goer, and enjoys spending time with family and friends.
