Harlem Fashion Week, is in its 5th edition, is celebrating and providing a platform for emerging designers and other industry professionals. This year includes more than four days of events which comprise the gala on Thursday when Ms. White will be honored, fashion shows, press conferences and educational symposiums.
The founders of Harlem Fashion Week are the Powerhouse mother-daughter team of Tandra Birkett and Yvonne Jewnell, owners of the fashion design company Yvonne Jewnell New York LLC. Harlem Fashion Week will be an explosion of culture that will bridge the Downtown fashion hub to the Uptown vibe.
