Jason McKie Foundation Joins Forces With Allstate, Muller Automotive Group and IL State Representative Linda Chapa LaVia (D) In Gifting Auto To Veteran

Aurora, IL (September 1, 2018) The Jason Mckie Foundation in conjunction with
Allstate Insurance Military and Veteran Programs, IL Representative Linda Chapa LaVia and the Muller Automotive Group will be gifting a 2017 Dodge Grand Caravan to a local, former Marine and single mom of four, Alyssa Tatar.

Tatar, who has been without her own reliable transportation, for approximately four months, following an accident, will receive her Grand Caravan on Wednesday September 5, 2018 at Bricks Wood Fired Pizza located at 1763 Freedom Dr., Naperville at 11:00am.

This mission did not come without challenges, but the end result and goal was to secure a safe vehicle for Tatar and her children.  "The vehicle went through inspection and other than normal maintenance it's in great shape. We replaced all the filters, wiper blades, did an oil change and detailed the minivan" said Glenn Muller of Muller Auto Group.

"As an Army Veteran and the Chairman of the Veteran's Affairs Committee in The Illinois House of Representatives, nothing makes me more humbled then when community comes together for one of our own who has worn the fabrics of this Great Nation" stated Representative Chapa LaVia.

The Jason McKie Foundation was formed in 2008 by retired NFL player Chicago Bear, Jason McKie. It is a 100% volunteer based organization, with a goal of raising awareness and providing emergency support for military families.  Foundation funds come primarily from fundraising events and personal donations.  The Foundation has donated service dogs, and furniture, paid rent and utilities, and delivered gifts to Military families, just to name a few examples.
