Bradenton Resident, Author LW Clay Secures Top 10 Spot in Global Author Academy Award

BRADENTON, Fla. - Sept. 4, 2018 - PRLog -- Demontown, written by Bradenton resident, LW Clay, has been chosen as a Top 10 Finalist for a 2018 Author Academy Award, an honor bestowed for literary merit and publishing excellence in the writing and publishing industry.

 LW Clay's book, which is up for the First Place award in the Mystery category, tells the story of Noah Greysen as he unwittingly pressures the local doctor into performing experimental eye surgery on him. Noah then begins to see the demons we wrestle with, and the angels that save us, every day. Across town, the "near-retired" Detective Finn is given one last chance to figure out the killer of the only cold case, the only murder case, Guffrey has ever seen.

 "From over five hundred books in sixteen categories from authors around the world up for an Author Academy Award, only ten in each category remain," said Kary Oberbrunner, founder of Author Academy Elite and the Author Academy Awards. Finalists are being reviewed and evaluated on popular vote, social contribution, and overall presentation (cover, content, flow, and originality) by the Academy's voting membership comprised of best-selling authors, literary agents and industry leaders.

 The Top Ten finalists in each category will also be presenting their book synopsis at the Author Academy Awards Red Carpet Session on Friday, Oct. 26, 2018, in Columbus, Ohio. Winners will be announced later that evening at the Author Academy Awards Ceremony where they will be invited to give an acceptance speech. Winners will also receive:
