YUZU's musical style is J-Funk, Pop and Urban Folk, combining both urban, traditional and modern elements, from the types of instruments played to the subject matter of her songs.
Yuzu traveled from Toyama, Japan to New York City to pursue her musical dream. Yuzu signed her record deal with Life in Rhythm Media headed by Bashiri Johnson, a Producer and legendary Percussionist who has worked with international superstars including Madonna, Sting, Whitney Houston, and was part of Michael Jackson's 'This Is It' movie and band.
