Andryk led Milwaukee Bavarian SC to the UPSL Spring 2018 title at North Area Athletics Complex in Boulder, Colo. on Sunday, Aug. 12.
Milwaukee Bavarian SC Head Coach Patrick Hodgins said, "Braden is one of the most dangerous attacking players in amateur soccer. His impact on the game is noticeable as he draws so much attention on the ball, but off the ball his movement allows other guys to be effective because of what he is capable of doing."
A native of Harland (Wisc.), Andryk was a 2017 NCAA Division III All-American and a three-time NSCAA All-Region First Team selection at Milwaukee School of Engineering, and graduated as the school's all-time leading goal scorer (80).
Milwaukee Bavarian SC (15-0-0 overall) went unbeaten to claim the UPSL's Pro Premier Midwest Conference during the regular season and won the conference postseason tournament to advance to the UPSL National Finals in Colorado, where swept three games to win the league title.
Led by Andryk's electric play in midfield, Bavarian SC defeated Santa Fe Wanderes and RWB Adria to advance from the conference playoffs to the UPSL Nationals. In Colorado, Bavarian SC topped Mass United FC in the UPSL quarterfinals and Florida Soccer Soldiers in the UPSL semifinals to move on to the final, where Andryk had two assists as they edged Sporting AZ FC, 3-2, for the title.
The UPSL Spring Season Most Valuable Player was selected by members of the league and journalists covering the UPSL.
