Brooklyn's Baby Raptors "Warriors Of The Weekend" Music Video Premiere on Dressed Like Machines
80s styled clip celebrates freedom from the everyday grind of work and obligations just in time for Labor Day
"The importance of visualizing yourself living your dream cannot be understated!" - Tora (Baby Raptors)
In the music video for "Warriors Of The Weekend" lensed by Los Angeles based film maker Nicole Sara Glass, Baby Raptors contrast the alternate realties we dream of when caught up in the everyday grind of work, school and obligations. Glass describes the premise of the video as;
"Tora plays the powerhouse 80's boss worn out by the end of another treacherous work week. She turns on the TV in her executive office, to find the alternate rock star life she often fantasizes about, playing on the screen before her, and we're transported through the TV into this alternate world."
Tora, Baby Raptors lead, who along with Glass envisioned the video concept shares, "There's something captivating about watching how our life would be if we had chosen another path. I personally left business school to live the life of an artist, so this [video] hits close to home. I love that the dream world wins over reality in this clip." Adding a bit a new age wisdom she concludes, "The importance of visualizing yourself living your dream cannot be understated!"
