Charle Fass aka Mister Illusion Receives Award From Magician Society

ROSEVILLE, Calif. - Aug. 30, 2018 - PRLog -- The Alliance of Harry Houdini Award was presented to Charlie Fass, aka Mister Illusion, this morning.  The award was presented by Manon Rodriguez, National Administrator of the Society of American Magicians headquartered in Denver, Colorado.  Charlie Fass has been a member of the Society since 1994 and was recognized for 25 years of faithful service.

Charlie is the owner of Mister Illusion Magic Productions which is located in Roseville California.  He operates the business along with his wife Barb and has performed coast to coast, in Europe, and on an NCL Cruise ship.  He has entertained adults, children, teens, and pre-schoolers.  His performances include stage, close-up, and strolling magic.  He has raised thousands of dollars at several local schools with his fund raising programs, entertained at company holiday parties, entertained at Old Sacramento on New Years Eve, created fun at day-care centers, appears at Rosati's Restaurant on a weekly basis, and numerous in-home birthday parties.  He prefers a comedy style of magic and explains that "there is a shortage of laughter in this world, and it is my goal to correct that shortage".

The Society of American Magicians, founded 1902 in New York City, is the oldest and most prestigious magical society in the world.  The ideals of the society include the elevation of the art of magic, promotion of harmony among magicians, and the opposition of the unnecessary public exposure of magical effects.  There are almost 300 assembly chapters throughout the world providing discussions, lectures, research, performances and exchange of magic secrets within the organization. To promote those endeavors, the society presents awards and fellowships in recognition of outstanding achievement in the art of magic.

Many of Charlie Fass's performances are at private events, but he and his wife Barb will be performing at the sixth annual Family Fest event taking place on September 29th in Roseville, California.  They will be performing on the main stage next to the Civic Center at 1:30 PM.
