Author Bev Freeman Releases Her Newest Book

CHARLOTTE, N.C. - Nov. 27, 2018 - PRLog -- Jan-Carol Publishing, Inc., of Johnson City, Tennessee, is proud to announce the release of Return to Walkers' Mountain by Bev Freeman.

Bev Freeman was born in Virginia and has lived all over the United States. After returning to the Appalachian region, she won her first writing award as a romance writer. Eventually, she realized she wanted to move into the mystery genre and started her series, The Madison McKenzie Files.

Freeman's release is a work of fiction. However, the Walker's story is true. Bev was only 12 years old when she learned about the family, but she never knew the outcome of the man who murdered the family. Follow the main character, Madison, as she tries to solve the mystery and endures life threatening encounters while doing her job as Sheriff.

Early reviews label the book as a story of intrigue and suspense. Dale Crotts, author of Death Watch and The Ruby Earring, says, "With the intention of a few days of leisurely reading, I found myself unable to stop until I finished this book in one day.
