SPRINGFIELD, Mo. - Aug. 29, 2018 - PRLog -- The Homestead Friends series has become our new family favorite! These will be treasured classics that go from night stand to the hope chest.

We loved how the new story of Leaping Leah and her adorable additions began with the connection to sweet Harley. Just like real life on a homestead, each animal becomes a part of a unified family. We also enjoyed how handsome Texas, the orange cat, was given part of the spot light as he told about his friend Leah. And don't forget Big Bo---the proud papa!

The illustrations are AMAZING!! They sweetness of the animals comes right through the pages. The reader gets a beautiful tour of the land as they enjoy the energetic journey of Leah through the homestead. Our children love the pictures so much they immediately grabbed their art supplies to make their own copies!

We can't wait to read more of 'Homestead Friends'. As with the first book, this book would make an excellent unit study or a 'Five in a Row' lesson for homeschooling or classroom use.
