Sacred Heart School introduces new computer science courses in middle and high schools
KINGSTON, MA, ISSUED AUGUST 24, 2018…Sacred Heart School (www.sacredheartkingston.com)
Science Department Chair Clair Lombardo will instruct the new AP Computer Programming A (Java) course, as well as AP Computer Science Principles, a course that has been offered for the past two years. Lauren Day, an Instructional Technology teacher, will teach Explorations in Coding I at the middle school level to students in grades 7 and 8.
The computer science courses are blended learning curricula prepared by experts in the field and delivered to Sacred Heart through Edhesive, an online program with a mission to dramatically increase access to the highest-quality STEM and computer science courses; the courses are implemented by the school's teachers.
