Jared Tate, founder of Digibyte Blockchain on the 'beauty and power of decentralisation'

In the latest episode of the show Financial Fox, Jared Tate, founder of Digibyte, talked to PR Crypto expert Stefania Barbaglio about the revolutionising power of decentralised networks.  During a 15-minute exclusive interview, Jared Tate highlighted the importance of cybersecurity in the era of blockchain and emphasised the role of communities in creating a global cryptocurrency.

Unlike the majority of cryptocurrencies, Digibyte was a product of a 'grassroots movement', as Tate defines it, with no pre-mining or ICO, growing organically through community engagement.

Tate expressed a level of scepticism and concern about the current hype around ICOs. He believes that the ICO market can be overestimated at the times, with many coins failing to succeed. However, the coins which do survive are more user-friendly and have greater ability to develop and scale – like Digibyte.

Amidst the infinite variety of coins listed on the crypto market, Digibyte has strong first mover advantages: its transaction time is 40 times faster than bitcoin, more secure and one of the lowest transaction fees. Because of its speed, DGB has the longest existing blockchain and its structure makes it cross compatible with any other blockchains.

Nevertheless, being a global form of payment is not the primary objective of DGB. Tate stressed that he hopes that Digibyte will set the ground of more secure networks: "Our main focus is building infrastructure from the ground up, helping to rebuild the internet. We believe that blockchain technology that is decentralized, like Digibyte, can fix 95% of the cybersecurity vulnerabilities that we have in internet applications and internet architecture nowadays."

Tate believes the world is on the verge of a new internet structure that it is made possible because of decentralised networks: "Blockchain is a worldwide phenomenon. We're at a point where everyone has realised that this technology is not going away, it is a paradigm shift in computer science and the architecture of the internet. "

The results of this revolution, though, will only be indeed achieved once the 'educational curve' about blockchain is completed: "The biggest challenge is education and understanding. Many people use blockchain as a buzzword, but very few truly understand it. Not only at the consumer level, but at executive levels as well."
