Jet Airways and Bangkok Airways Extend Codeshare Agreement
Jet Airways, one of the most preferred full-service airlines in the Indian market, and Bangkok Airways
This comes as a cheering news for businesspersons and tourists travelling on routes involving India, Thailand and Vietnam, who will continue to have additional air travel options.
While the Indian airline currently places its marketing code on Mumbai-Bangkok flights operated by Bangkok Airways, the agreement will allow Jet Airways to offer flights between Bangkok and Koh Samui, Phuket, Krabi, Chiang Mai, Chiang Rai and Sukho Thai.
After the agreement comes in to effect on August 23rd, 2018, the Thai regional airline will also be able to offer Jet Airways flights between Mumbai and Bangalore, Delhi, Kolkata, Ahmedabad, Chennai and Goa.
The two airlines called the expansion of the codeshare agreement as the continuation of their attempts to bestow upon travellers additional connections and travelling options.
