The first venture was to be held at the Apollo Theater in New York City but was subsequently held at the Victoria Five Theater in Harlem. After investing various resources and attracting numerous celebrities to the HHHOF, Mr. Syder's responsibilities grew even as then executives left the firm. In 2014, Mr. Syder started his own entertainment firm called Free Dome 7 Entertainment, LLC. The firm quickly evolved as Mr. Syder signed his business partner, J. Spice. In 2016, with increased responsibilities from other ventures, including his newly formed Free Dome 7 Entertainment, LLC, Mr. Syder's advisors suggested that he relinquish all involvement in the Hip Hop Hall of Fame. Therefore, effective immediately, Mr. Syder is no longer working with the Hip Hop Hall of Fame, nor is he responsible for any of his former portfolios at the firm. At a recent meeting, Mr. Syder stated: "My time at the HHHOF had been very intriguing, and often profoundly complex; I wish Mr. J.T. Thompson, and the remaining part-time worker at the firm, all the best with their endeavors."
