United Premier Soccer League Announces South Florida's FSI Vultures FC as Expansion Team
Lake Worth (Fla.)-Based Pro Development Club Joins UPSL for 2018 Fall Season
Based in Lake Worth (Fla.), FSI Vultures FC begins UPSL play in the Southeast Conference Florida South Division, and is currently exploring its venue options in compliance with UPSL's Minimum Standards.
United Premier Soccer League Florida Divisions Manager Christian Vallejos said, "As the UPSL continues to expand into Florida I am happy to announce a new club, FSI Vultures FC, in Palm Beach County. The UPSL's footprint on the Gold Coast is getting bigger, and we wish Vultures FC the best as the club prepares to kick off soon."
Vlad Gawlikowski is Owner of FSI Vultures FC. A native of New Jersey and California, Gawlikowski is Executive Director of Fun Sports, Inc., a designated Florida non-profit.
Gawlikowski, 51, is the Sports Coordinator for Boys & Girls Clubs of America of Palm Beach County, serving 13 sites with health, sport and fitness programming throughout the county.
FSI Vultures FC Owner Vlad Gawlikowski said, "Turkey Vultures are very popular here and we're going to be called Vultures FC. The excitement that we're bringing to Palm Beach County is great, because the potential players know we're serious about winning and having fun doing so. Fun Sports, Inc., has done youth leagues and adult recreation leagues throughout the county, and now it's time to get into something bigger with the UPSL, and see what opportunities we can develop for our community along the way."
Fun Sports Inc., was formed in 2008 as a private non-profit foundation to help provide neighborhood families with 'FUN' wellness activities and offer recreational scholarships.
The club fsoon will announce its upcoming game schedule.

FSI Vultures Football club is an American Soccer club currently based in Lake Worth, Fla., and a new member of the United Premier Soccer League. FSI Vultures FC will begin play in the UPSL Pro Premier.
Founded in 2018, FSI Vultures FC can participate in the qualifying rounds for the Lamar Hunt U.S. Open Cup through their affiliation and membership with the UPSL, the U.S. Soccer Federation (USSF) and the United States Adult Soccer Association (USASA).

The UPSL was formed in 2011 and currently includes more than 200 teams in Alaska, Arizona, California, Colorado, Florida, Georgia, Idaho, Illinois, Indiana, Iowa, Kansas, Massachusetts, Michigan, Minnesota, Missouri, Nebraska, Nevada, New Hampshire, New Jersey, New Mexico, New York, North Carolina, Ohio, Oklahoma, Oregon, Pennsylvania, Rhode Island, South Carolina, South Dakota, Texas, Utah, Virginia and Wisconsin. UPSL is the fastest growing Pro Development League in the USA, with 300-plus teams targeted for 2018 Fall Season. Each UPSL team is individually owned and operated, and is responsible for maintaining either UPSL Pro Premier Division or Championship Division minimum standards.
UPSL teams are all eligible to participate in the U.S. Open Cup Qualifying Rounds through the leagues affiliation with the U.S. Soccer Federation (USSF) and the United States Adult Soccer Association (USASA).
