Join Professional Women in Building's Walk Team for the 5th Annual HOPE Walk

LAKEWOOD, N.J. - Aug. 22, 2018 - PRLog -- Join the Shore Builders Associations' Professional Women in Building of the Garden State (PWBGS) and their new partners at New Jersey Builders Association (NJBA) for the fifth annual HOPE Walk on the boardwalk of Seaside Heights on Saturday, September 8 to raise awareness for the Prima family and the Hope Sheds Light, Inc.'s efforts for addiction recovery. Through the HOPE Walk, PWBGS, NJBA, and other participants hope to encourage an increased sense of community involvement in and understanding for addiction recovery and limiting the causes of addiction.

Through their partnership, PWBGS and NJBA hope to expand their reach and increase efforts to support the Hope Sheds Light organization. Both PWBGS and NJBA and their members are dedicated to reaching out to communities throughout New Jersey. The Hope Sheds Light organization revolves around the importance of community to people in recovery. PWBGS President, Georgette Kyriacou, explains that "We're very excited to broaden the outreach of our participation in the HOPE Walk by bringing on NJBA's members as well as our own because this partnership includes more of our homebuilder association members statewide. Each member of our walk team expands the awareness of resources provided by Hope Sheds Light to families and individuals facing addiction, and we couldn't be happier to help them in their goal". Community members may help aid the team's efforts by donating towards their goal of $7,500 and their walk team, Too Inspired to Be Tired, or march alongside them in the HOPE Walk. Working with individuals, families, and communities like the Prima family who lost their son, Paavo, to addiction, Hope Sheds Light is striving towards changing the face of addiction recovery.
