Creighton Construction & Development to convert laundromat into 7-Eleven in Lauderhill

FORT MYERS, Fla. - Aug. 21, 2018 - PRLog -- Creighton Construction & Development has begun a demolition and renovation project that will redevelop a portion of the busy Inverness Center shopping plaza in Lauderhill, Florida.

Creighton is demolishing a vacant restaurant building and renovating an existing laundromat, converting that facility into a modern 7-Eleven convenience store. Outside, Creighton will construct five fuel dispensers with 10 fueling positions under a protective canopy structure.

Located at 5590 W. Oakland Park Blvd., just west of the Florida Turnpike and across from Lauderhill City Hall, the 7-Eleven will feature a large 4,285-square-foot convenience store and ample parking.

Creighton's team for this project is being led by land development manager Roger Posey and construction project manager Bill Griffith.

The estimated completion date is January 2019.
