Smith communities host free support groups for caregivers of people with Alzheimer's or dementia

CHICAGO - Aug. 21, 2018 - PRLog -- Southwest Chicago and suburban families and caregivers of older adults living with Alzheimer's disease or dementia can connect with others during open topic discussions at free meetings either Sept. 4 at Smith Village in Chicago's Beverly neighborhood or Sept. 6 at Smith Crossing in Orland Park. Both begin at 6:30 p.m.

    The hour-long gatherings at both life plan communities will be open to questions and comments from the assembled group about the various stages of cognitive loss. After the meetings, light refreshments will be served.
