FiDonce Pro-Am Announces Marcus Thomas as MVP Award Winner

PHILADELPHIA - Aug. 19, 2018 - PRLog -- FiDonce Pro-Am announced Friday that the winner of the Most Valuable Player (MVP) award for Summer 2018, was Marcus Thomas of the Philly Cannons.

Thomas showcased his scoring ability against top pro level competition all summer while leading the #1 Ranked team PHILLY CANNONS to the best record in the league. This up & coming player does not back down from any challenge & plays with a chip on his shoulder. The committee who selected Marcus as MVP felt he had been the most consistent player throughout the season averaging 19 points per game & gave the Cannons the edge over other teams with his dynamic style of play.

Top contenders in the MVP race deserving a mention include Novar Gadson of the Beacon Blazers,, who led his team to its inaugural upset win over F.O.E. (consisting of the NBA's Morris twins), and Shep Garner of IE4 Success, a formidable opponent for any team faced, driving the offense with his 3-point shooting.

FiDonce Pro-Am commissioner Fahreed Cheatham extended his congratulations to Marcus on a season well played and acknowledged Philly Cannons coach Roger Beckwith & all team members for displaying professionalism and consistency throughout the season.
