Dr. Bhagat is new Dean, Agriculture, at Rayat Bahra University

MOHALI, India - Aug. 17, 2018 - PRLog -- Dr Rakesh Mohan Bhagat, a renowned academician and scientist of entomology, with professional experience as researcher, academician and administration manager spanning 34 years, has joined as Dean, Agriculture of the Rayat Bahra University.

Dr Bhagat is a reputed researcher and worked in various aspects of entomology and has a large number of publications in international and national journals to his credit. He has served in agricultural universities in various senior positions like Director Resident Instructions, Dean Post Graduate Studies/Director Education, Dean of Faculty of Agriculture, Director, Research and Head of Division at Sher-e-Kashmir University of Agricultural Sciences and Technology of Jammu, Jammu.

Dr Bhagat has served as chairman of Board of Studies (2008-13), Post Graduate Faculty (2008-13), Under Graduate Faculty (2009-10), Central Purchase Committee (2009-11), Library Advisory Committee (2009-13), Variety Release Committee (2010-11) and Works Committee (2008 onwards) of Sher-e-Kashmir University of Agricultural Sciences and Technology, Jammu.

Apart from this, Dr. Bhagat has visited Wayne State University Detroit; Michigan University, America, Frankfurt Germany and UAE Also member Research Board of Advisors, American Biographical Institute USA since 2000.
