Local Businesses to Support the Muscular Dystrophy Association

BERLIN, Conn. - Aug. 16, 2018 - PRLog -- CITGO Petroleum Corporation and Atlantis Fresh Market are teaming up for the first time to raise money for those battling neuromuscular diseases at the "Drive for a Cure" Golf Classic benefiting the Muscular Dystrophy Association (MDA) Connecticut Chapter. The proceeds from this event will go towards clinical research and medical and rehabilitation costs for patients fighting muscular dystrophy.

Since CITGO and the MDA began working together over 32 years ago, they have raised over $200 million for the nonprofit health organization.

The triple partnership is kicking off their fundraising efforts with a Golf Event on September 27, 2018 at the Whitney Farms Golf Course in Monroe, Connecticut.
