Algoworks Celebrates 72nd Independence Day of India!

NOIDA, India - Dec. 31, 2018 - PRLog -- August 15th is a propitious day for each and every Indian as the day marks India's freedom and liberation. Algoworks celebrated the 72nd Independence day of India with a first-of-its-kind  event called "ETHNIK- The Diversity Walk". Held in the office premises, employees participated enthusiastically exhibiting cultural diversity and exemplary ethnicity in their rampwalks.

Algoworks' workplace was entirely adorned with the tri-colour themed ribbons and balloons. Indian flags embellished the reception area. Employees showed up in elegant ethnic wear, justifying the theme of the day. The event "Ethnik" commenced shortly with the Indian National Anthem.

A total of four teams participated in this fun event, mesmerizing the audience and the judges with their graceful outfits. Team 'Rudraksha' depicted various festivals of India with different colourful attires. Team 'Indi Walkers' chose sports as their theme with the motto "Freedom is never given; it is won". Their walk was a tribute to those who brought laurels to Indian Sports. The third team was beautifully named 'Iknoor' portrayed the Soulful Silk Story, giving out the message that sarees are always a mesmerising ode to women. The final team was called 'Indian Swaggers' where they represented India from different regions.

Watching employees dressed up in different avatars was a treat to the eyes. The participants walked the ramp in their ethnic ensembles, while keeping the patriotic vibe persistent. Team 'Indian Swaggers' (Pallavi Goswami, Sahil Bhatnagar, Sonali Dattana, Sidharth Yadav, Mansa Mishra, Prashant Trivedi, Shefali Garg, Shivam Aggarwal) won the Ethnik Walk competition with their creativity in the ethnic outfits and beautiful depiction of various Indian cultures.

Ajeet Singh, co-Founder and Director,  who was on the judges' bench along with Rachit, Ravi and Nauman, remarked, 'Team Iknoor's performance was mesmerizing. It seemed so rich and complete with the elegance of saree once again reminding of our amazing Indian culture'. Nauman Ahmad, Marketing Head, was quick to add, 'Team Rudraksh probably suffered the first-to-perform syndrome but they set the benchmark right. Next team to come Team Indi Walkers gave a stunning performance on stage, however the winners Team Indian Swaggers paid careful attention to the details, balancing the act with the right music, confidence and flair while giving complete justice to their theme. Credits to Team Iknoor for giving the toughest of competition, but the winners took off with all of the prize money. A fantastic day at office this. Congrats to one and all.'

The day wrapped up with the final showdown where all the participants walked the ramp together, followed by a group photo session. Later, employees were served delicacies and sweets, ending the day on a delicious and positive note.
