UPSL National Player Of The Week: Milwaukee Bavarian SC's Scott Lorenz

LOS ANGELES - Aug. 15, 2018 - PRLog -- Milwaukee Bavarian SC forward Scott Lorenz has been named UPSL National Player of the Week. A native of Illinois, Lorenz scored the game-winning goal in a 3-2 victory over Sporting AZ FC in the UPSL 2018 Spring Season National Championship Final on Sunday, August 12, 2018.

Lorenz started and played 89 minutes for Milwaukee Bavarian SC (15-0-0 overall), the UPSL 2018 Spring Season National Champion.

A graduate of University of Wisconsin-Madison, Lorenz previously played with Sporting Kansas City (MLS) and Ft. Lauderdale Strikers (NASL) and finished his third year with Bavarian SC with six goals and five assists this season.

The UPSL National Player of the Week is selected each week of the regular season by members of the league and journalists covering the UPSL.

United Premier Soccer League

The UPSL was formed in 2011 and currently includes more than 200 teams in Alaska, Arizona, California, Colorado, Florida, Georgia, Idaho, Illinois, Indiana, Iowa, Kansas, Massachusetts, Michigan, Minnesota, Missouri, Nebraska, Nevada, New Hampshire, New Jersey, New Mexico, New York, North Carolina, Ohio, Oklahoma, Oregon, Pennsylvania, Rhode Island, South Carolina, South Dakota, Texas, Utah, Virginia and Wisconsin.
