LOS ANGELES - Aug. 15, 2018 - PRLog -- The Cause International (https://www.thecauseinternational.com/), Millennial Founder & CEO Antoine Taylor sat down with LA Talk Radiohost Felicia Grigsby and Annette Ortiz to talk about how and why he started his apparel brand and how he plans to make a lasting impact.

Taylor shared his story of his desire to have additional spending money that launched his brand. As a Pre Med Student at St Johns University in Minnesotaand living close to 2000 miles away from his Southern California roots money was tight and ambition was high. Wanting to travel home for the Christmas holiday and having limited disposable income to enjoy leisure time off campus was his epiphany moment.

Taylor began his entrepreneurial college journey by doing laundry for college mates. After having success and building a great rapport with students on campus he spearheaded to fill a need where there was minimal competition from the school bookstore and began selling socks. Taylor applied a grass roots business model by launching his campaign asking students around campus to purchase socks embroidered with the school mascot name "Johnny's". His timing could not have been more perfect. The Christmas holiday was underway and students placed orders to fulfill their holiday gift giving to friends and family. This brilliant plan did so well that Taylor was quickly able to secure his first large order of 512 socks in one week.

After the success of his first campaign, Taylor wanted to immediately give back. He joined forces with his friends and now business partners Abdifatah Musse, John Oliver and Jacob Lucas to give back to the South Side of Chicago. Weeks after the first big sock sale, the cohort rented a bus and drove from Minnesota to Chicago to the Boys and Girls Club, (BCGA). Business partner John Oliver had attended BBCA as a young boy and wanted to share the love and give the children an amazing holiday party. The event included, retrofitting the location, giving away t-shirts and a donation of three thousand dollars.  The children were so happy and appreciative; one child said "this is the best X-Mas party I ever had".

Fast-forward to 2018, several years after their humble beginning, The Causecontinues to pay it forward, by donating 15% of all net profit towards a worthy CAUSE. Charitable contributions vary is amount, and are solely based on need."I admire my team's proactive approach to leadership, creativity and their desire to give back. I look forward to making a lasting impact by traveling around the country giving back" saidAntoine Taylor, CEO of The Cause.

In shaping the brand, Taylor plays a critical role as the visionary behind the brand. He understands that a vision is not just a statement; it's a process.   It can change the world and present opportunities for true leaders to step up and support their communities all over the world.  Taylor is a young motivated leader aspiringto greatness.
