Public Safety Teams Endorse Candidate Katrina Foley for Mayor 2018

COSTA MESA, Calif. - Aug. 17, 2018 - PRLog -- "I'm honored that they trust me to lead our city as the first directly elected Mayor," stated Foley shortly after receiving the news that both public safety organizations had endorsed her.

Foley says, "We have public safety challenges to tackle related to inadequate staffing, outdated equipment and technology, and a creep up in our crime stats. Plus, law enforcement must now act as first responders, and first responders must adjust to a higher risk to their own safety due to the mental health and addictions crisis. We must ensure they are properly trained and equipped; proper training protects the public and our public safety personnel."

Foley is known in the city for being a strong supporter of all city safety workers.  "Public safety of our community is my top priority. I look forward to partnering with our public safety teams to keep our community safe," said Foley.
