The Adventures of Prissy and Missy™, "Travel Abroad" by Karen Elise Wormack

EAST ORANGE, N.J. - Aug. 15, 2018 - PRLog -- Author, Karen Elise Wormack, MPA was an invited afternoon guest speaker at East Orange Public Library on Wednesday June 27, 2018.  Wormack who is both an Author and President of House of the Guilded Scribe, LLC, Independent Book Publishers graduated from the original East Orange High School Campus (L. Frank T. Penn, Principal) on William Street, after relocating during her upcoming junior year from Southeast Washington, DC.

    Subsequently, she was accepted into Cheyney University, ultimately earning her Bachelor's Degree in English from Kean University (Union, NJ).  During that time Wormack was employed as a K-12 Substitute Teacher for the Newark Board of Education, academically serving a myriad of communities throughout the city.

Additionally, Wormack continued her pursuit of higher education through acceptance into Marywood University, (Scranton, PA), thus graduating with outstanding honors as she received her Master's Degree in Public Administration. Wormack also received the Walton Medal of Honor in Excellence for Public Administration (a nomination by Faculty) when it was her turn to walk across the stage.

    Possessing a Joie de vivre pertaining to education, children and the written word, Wormack believes she's finally found her perfect niche in life, through confident public speaking and the publication and branding of The Adventures of Prissy and Missy™, exciting and sophisticated children's book series, which will contain no less than fifteen, "stand alone" exceptionally written timeless stories, for the children and people of the world.  Wormack utilizes her skill of professional verse and all of Prissy and Missy Adventures™ include a meaningful glossary with stunning anime style art, hand drawn by international design studios.

    The Adventures of Prissy and Missy™, "Beyond Earth's Sky to Mars" is Wormack's eleventh manuscript, however, it will be published third.  This brilliant book of two hundred and seventy six pages, including a four hundred word scientific glossary, will help to educate our future leaders, as a superior companion for global STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Math) Programs.

    Moreover, Wormack's (a resident of Pennsylvania) invitation to the East Orange Public Library was received gladly, albeit, her schedule was filling briskly during the first and second quarter of 2018.  She was a regular participant for "Celebrity Read" events hosted by United Way of Essex and West Hudson Counties, an invited guest Author helping to celebrate the "Week of the Young Child" (Community Hills Early Learning, Newark, NJ), and shared The Adventures of Prissy and Missy™, including an anti-bullying sing along at two East Orange, NJ Elementary Schools: Langston Hughes and Ecole Toussaint Louveture, as well as, two East Orange Head Start Programs located on Washington Street and South Munn Avenue, respectively.

    Wormack shares she was also greeted with hospitality when granted an audience with the Esteemed and Honorable Mayor Ted Green, City of East Orange, NJ, who saw fit to include several copies of The Adventures of Prissy and Missy™, "Travel Abroad" into his grandchildren's private libraries of literary excellence.

    Wormack speaks with candor and enthusiasm when asked about the success of her literary presentations and fondly recalls the great time she shared with the children of East Orange, including those in attendance for the Prissy and Missy event held at the Library.  She gives thanks and gratitude to the Library proper and the Librarians arranging the successful afternoon.  Wormack also graciously thanks Baker & Taylor, the world's largest media distributor for cataloguing The Adventures of Prissy and Missy™, "Travel Abroad".  The East Orange Public Library owns a copy, whereas, the general public can find its book location, unless it's been joyfully checked out.  The Adventures of Prissy and Missy™, have also been approved by the New York City Department of Education, accessed through BookSource.com, premiere children's book authority and distributor.
