Palm Beach Fertility Center Named as LIVESTRONG Fertility Program Partner
Palm Beach Fertility Center (PBFC) has been named as a LIVESTRONG Fertility Program Partner, allowing the center to offer discounted services to cancer survivors.
As a LIVESTRONG Fertility Program Partner, PBFC will begin offering discounts on its services to cancer survivors. It joins more than 550 other fertility centers throughout the continental United States who are also part of the proud LIVESTRONG Fertility Program family. The Program saves cancer survivors an estimated $1,200,000 in fertility clinic service costs and related expenses each year. In the last 14 years, approximately 8,000 people have taken advantage of the Program's discounted rates, with more than 1,500 of those people seeking fertility assistance in 2017.
In order to take advantage of LIVESTRONG Fertility Program discounts, anyone who is impacted by cancer can apply for the specialized service rates before beginning cancer treatments. Thanks to LIVESTRONG and its Partners, people can take control of their lives again after it seemed like cancer had taken some of their most important choices away.
LIVESTRONG Fertility, which was previously called Fertile Hope, plays an instrumental role in ensuring cancer survivors find ways to preserve fertility throughout cancer treatments, or regain fertility after cancer treatments end. The future of fertility medicine and reproductive endocrinology are also supported greatly by LIVESTRONG Fertility. The organization and its numerous Program Partners work together to progress the medical understanding of fertility and all of the internal and external factors that can impact it.
Mark Denker, M.D. of Palm Beach Fertility Center has been quoted as saying, "We are proud to be named as a LIVESTRONG Fertility program partner. This partnership will help us to further support those in our community who are affected by cancer. We share the LIVESTRONG's enthusiasm and commitment to helping those diagnosed with cancer to have a family, regardless of financial means. Together, we hope to make a profound difference in the lives of survivors and their families in our area."
