LANCASTER, Pa. - Aug. 13, 2018 - PRLog -- Team Magnolias will put brush to canvas in an effort to battle Alzheimer's disease.

Magnolias of Lancaster is participating in "Paint to End Alzheimer's," a fundraising event that will be held on Tuesday, August 14 at the West Willow United Methodist Church in Willow Street, Pa.

"Painting parties have become a popular, creative and fun way to raise funds for all kinds of important causes," said Sarah Snavely, CDP LifeStories Director at Magnolias of Lancaster. "We believe this will be an exciting way to raise money for the Alzheimer's Association. It will give our Team Magnolias and all of those who participate an opportunity to show off our creativity."

Each participant, adults ($35 donation) or children under 16 ($25 donation) will create their own canvas painting with the guidance of Emily Seilhamer, an artist and activity provider of Connecting in Color.

In addition to the painting party, raffles and a silent auction will be held to raise money to battle Alzheimer's. Refreshments also will be available.

West Willow United Methodist Church is located at 118 West Willow Road, Willow Street, Pa. 17584.
