LionFox says "We don't own the rights to this music!"

NEW YORK - Aug. 13, 2018 - PRLog -- LionFox Entertainment Group, a DBA division of Townsend Tech Tools LLC., is not affiliated in any manner with the distribution of the documentary "Change Gon' Come" in its current incarnation.
While proud to have been the driving force behind the completion of the one hour documentary, that's also the major sticking point. The project, in limbo since February 2017, is not actually complete. The editor submitted a locked cut for review by the director with a temporary, copyrighted music track, authored by Sam Cooke, with publishing retained by RCA Victor. That music remains in the currently distributed version of the film. and infringes upon rights holders under well-known & documented U.S. & International Copyright laws.
With an intention to release the film in July 2018, to coincide with the area code 718, & tie in the Brooklyn theme, Townsend Tech Tools LLC., built a platform around the event. Film trailers & marketing materials were produced, graphics were rendered, a top-level domain was acquired, a custom (no WordPress) mobile website was built, and a secure payment system was put in place. All that was needed from the Director/Producer, was the music to replace Mr. Cooke's, or the rights to use the temporary music in a commercial manner. Unfortunately that did not happen, and we are left no recourse, but to disclaim legal, financial, moral, &/or ethical responsibility for the content of the film as it's currently being distributed.
Townsend Tech Tools LLC., LionFox Entertainment Group, & Edward Townsend P/K/A Shake Dua, were not involved in nor approved of the current distribution process, have no financial stake in, & were clearly & completely, unaware of the intended release of this project in its current form, prior to August 12, 2018.

In response to this apparent economic assault, and now scrambling to recoup expenditures, Townsend Tech Tools LLC., has planned the release of it's more relevantly titled "Things Done Changed" documentary for August 17, 2018 (8.17, get it? Things Done Changed!).

Competitively priced, & rebranded as a Deluxe Documentary Package, "Things Done Changed" will be available as a native Android, & cross-platform mobile web app. Along with the ability to stream or download the film, the app features original music from Moby, Bootz RothChylde, & others. The Director's introduction, uncut scenes, community building features likes Instant chat, notifications, wall papers, & mapping will make this deluxe app an unparalleled mobile experience.

We're going to use this wrench in the machinery to assess, & fix our processes. Historically, we've been able to work alongside artists, balancing our business interests with our creative sensibilities. Townsend Tech Tools LLC., & LionFox Entertainment Group have always consisted of creative business artists. We maintain long-term friendships within the artistic, & small business communities, & are proponents of fiscal transparency, fair pay for usage, & ethical business practices. In addition to that , we have our own Ascap registered FoxyLion Music & Media Publishing compositions & properties in the film, that were not addressed prior to this release.
