Podcasts also act as a showcase for PPG's many corporate sponsors, giving them the opportunity to present their products and services to an important market segment. Finally, the BARKS Blog, previously known as Blog by the Guild, features posts by professional animal behavior consultants and trainers, again covering a variety of topics relevant to the practicing pet professional, and is updated regularly. "It has always been BARKS' policy to provide a forum where PPG members can share their knowledge, experience, ideas and expertise on the double premise that, whichever sector of the pet industry they operate in, everyone has something unique and valuable to share, and everyone can learn from each other," said BARKS editor, Susan Nilson. "PPG has thousands of highly skilled, educated members all over the world, many of whom generously contribute their time to make BARKS the publication that it is today and it is this knowledge sharing that forms the core of BARKS' ethos. The new platform will ensure this expertise and, thus, awareness of the force-free approach to training and behavior modification, will reach an even wider audience." "The new BARKS media platform is the perfect one-stop shop for PPG to showcase its variety of media products, offering a more accessible, cohesive and user-friendly experience," About The Pet Professional Guild The Pet Professional Guild (www.petprofessionalguild.com) About BARKS from the Guild BARKS from the Guild is the bi-monthly trade publication from the Pet Professional Guild covering all things animal behavior and training, pet care, canine, feline, equine, avian, pocket pets, and exotics, as well as business, sales, marketing and consulting, and is a recommended business and educational tool for animal behavior, training and pet care professionals.
