'Children's Happy Reading Journey' event creating a positive impact on young readers and community

OVIEDO, Fla. - Aug. 10, 2018 - PRLog -- 'The Children's Happy Reading Journey', an event which celebrates reading fun for young children and their families as sponsored by Anderson & Ferrin, Attorneys At Law, P.A., in a show of support for the importance of early reading development in children is being designed to positively impact the community and heighten the interest of reading in early learners.

The community oriented event offers FREE ADMISSION for all attendees at a reading fair that captures the joy of reading fun for young children and their families throughout the event that is open to the public.

The exciting adventure of creative reading fun, now in its 3rd year, will be held indoors at the Oviedo Mall on Sat. Sept. 22, 2018 from 1:00pm - 5:00pm where books will be read to young children and their families in attendance by various Fairytale Princesses, favorite super hero Characters, the President of Florida PTA Seminole County and other Florida PTA Representatives, local teachers in the community, business owners and members of various community organizations along with many other supporters of a strong reading focused community event.

'The Children's Happy Reading Journey Event' is a Free Admission event which promotes a fun, interactive reading experience for young children and their families to enjoy where a gallery of vendors will provide innovative hands-on activities and where children can explore storybooks that are being brought to life at different stations.

WUCF-TV PBS Kids will be on hand representing with a unique reading area for families to explore innovative reading tools which they offer families to help instill a love of reading in their children.

Young children attendees will be able to meet a variety of Children's Book Authors and Illustrators and engage in amazing special creative reading fun games and activities at this special Reading event that's lively and upbeat with a wealth of hands-on activities and stories that are brought to life in numerous ways by participating vendors and community partners.

The event promotes the fact that reading is fun, reading is essential and reading is full of opening up a wonderful world of possibilities for young readers where imaginations soar.

The event will have Children's Book Authors and Illustrators available for meet and greet opportunities with families who will also enjoy interactive story telling experiences from Readers at the Reading Stage.

A special treat for families are the local personalities that, among others, will be include readers such as Amy Sweezey, WESH 2 award-winning Broadcast Meteorologist and Children's Author of 'It Never, Ever Snows In Florida', and  'Let's Talk Weather, TV Forecasting: Behind the Scenes', representatives from the Great Start Program affiliated with the Early Learning Dept. of Seminole County Schools providing early reader books and material for children, and Judy Lindquist, a local teacher and author of the book , Saving Home , which was published by the Florida Historical Society, endorsed by the Florida Humanities Council, and is on the recommended reading list for several Florida School Districts. Judy Lindquist, a Teacher Consultant for the National Writing Project provides workshops for teachers on the teaching of writing and is an adjunct professor at the University of Central Florida for 10 years, where she teaches Children's Literature classes in the college of Education. Also participating will be John Hope, the award-winning author of numerous K-12 books and novels who himself has a zest for adventure, family fun times and the propensity to write daily.

Toddlers, Preschoolers and Young Children will be able to participate in engaging hands-on reading related activities and enjoy the special atmosphere of the unique event and also have their picture taken with the Princesses, Super Heroes and Characters present at the event.

'The Children's Happy Reading Journey Event' shares a positive and fun filled 'Happy Reading' experience for all with Face Painting available, Book Basket Giveaways and Door Prize drawings.

Bringing stories to life and having children and their families enjoy FUN Reading is what 'The Children's Happy Reading Journey' event is all about.

Children will be able to have meet and greet opportunities with various Children's Book Authors, Writers and Illustrators up close and personal while also enjoying interactive story telling and reading experiences. The event is designed to be an exciting 'Happy Reading Journey' experience for all.
