GRAVETTE, Ark. - Aug. 10, 2018 - PRLog -- The 2018 GTO Dream Giveaway® brought to you by Ames Performance Engineering, a nationwide drawing sponsored by New Beginning Children's Homes-a charitable organization, is coming to an end on August 28, 2018! Included in the grand-prize package is an award-winning 1965 Pontiac GTO Sport Coupe, plus $10,000 towards the prize taxes!

The Grand Prize: The 1965 GTO is an ultra-rare collectible muscle car with the ultimate provenance—it was an in-house, "special use" vehicle for Pontiac Motor Division's Portland Zone Office. Ordered by Pontiac to have the most desirable factory options available with money being no object, this early example of Pontiac's "Great One" won't disappoint with its Montero Red paint and Parchment bucket-seat interior. Pontiac built this GTO as the dream machine of an entire generation of muscle-car enthusiasts, complete with a 389ci/360hp Tri-Power engine, four-speed manual transmission, Positraction, manual steering and brakes, rally gauges including tachometer, custom sports steering wheel, and special-ordered transistorized ignition and heavy-duty brakes. It is estimated that Pontiac built less than 200 1965 GTOs for corporate use. That makes this grand-prize 1965 GTO one of the rarest GTOs on earth!

To make this time-capsule GTO even more historic, it is autographed by Pontiac Assistant Chief Engineer Bill Collins, who is considered by many automobile historians to be the creator of the GTO!

Fully restored with parts from Ames Performance, this 1965 GTO earned the coveted Pontiac Oakland Club International Points-Judged Gold award, certifying its concours condition. Further, GTO Association of America certified concours judge Randy Prybyl inspected this 1965 GTO and called it one of the finest examples of a 1965 GTO in the country!
