Open House & Concert Series Kick-Off at Congregation B'nai IsraelFree, family friendly event in Vallejo featuring the Haimish Music Band
VALLEJO, Calif. - Aug. 9, 2018 - PRLog -- Congregation B'nai Israel is opening its doors to the public on Sunday, August 26th and kicking off a series of upcoming concerts titled L'shem Shemayim Concert Series.
The free family-friendly open house event will take place at the Synagogues Vallejo location from 2-4pm and includes an Ice Cream Social, live music by the Haimish Music Band who will perform favorite Israeli, Yiddish and Klezmer songs. Youth Program Registration will also be available at the Open House. The L'shem Shemayim Concert Series continues with the second concert taking place in October featuring Pianist Paul Caccamo & Soprano Revital Shmerling. L'shem Shemayim is Hebrew for "for the sake of heaven" and is the theme for all five concerts. The first is free at the Open House in August and subsequent concerts are $20 in advance and $25 at the door or $60 for all four concerts.
