LOS ANGELES - Aug. 8, 2018 - PRLog -- It's estimated that one in six children in America live in poverty, are food insecure and don't have consistent access to three meals a day, according to the USDA. In California, the statistic is only slightly better: one in eight children. For those who have longed for a way to give back to their communities and end child hunger, there is now an easy way: Buy a bottle of Sababa Water, and Sababa donates a meal to a local child in the community where the water is sold.

This is Sababa Water's one-into-one philosophy: Buy a bottle, feed a child in the USA. It's a convenient way for consumers to take charge in their communities and feed hungry children.

"People who want to eliminate food insecurity in their communities can do so now without changing their habits," says Dawn Elyzabeth, Co-Founder of Sababa Water. "They simply buy a bottle of Sababa Water, open it, take a drink, and feel good knowing they have just bought a meal for a hungry child. And if they buy a bottle each time they're at the grocery store, they feed children consistently, not just once. This is how we can eliminate child hunger."

This is the effect of "water with a cause." Full, nutritious meals are distributed through local food banks, such as LA Regional Food Bank and Waste Not OC, that partner with Sababa Water. In 2017, more than 200,000 meals were provided to children through the company's sales. In Las Vegas, the company provides 2,500 meals weekly to local children.

Sababa Water is purified using reverse osmosis, and at the time of bottling, holds a pH value of 9+. No chemicals are added or used during the process. Currently, Sababa Water is currently available at Vons, Albertson's and Pavillions throughout California, and in boutique establishments in Southern California and Las Vegas. The founders envision that Sababa Water eventually will be sold across the country.

"We formed this company because we were alarmed at the rate of child hunger in the United States," says Jonathan Stone, Co-Founder of Sababa Water. "Our mission is to end child hunger in America. And anyone can help our mission every time they shop."
