LOUISVILLE, Ky. - Aug. 7, 2018 - PRLog -- During a time when the Trump administration is trying its best to plant a seed of divisiveness in our country, local politics in Louisville, KY paints a different picture. During the primaries host of "A Matter of Interpretation", Claudette Milner, profiled candidates running for elected office with an emphasis on judicial candidates. Her radio program which airs on Saturdays at 5:00 PM on WLOU 1350 AM / 104.7 FM showcased several candidates and their opponents. The candidates included potential and current judges which included women, men. members of the LGBT community, African American, and Hispanic community.
Her series began its first shows last month showcasing Judge Lavery and his opponent Annie O'Connell. Each candidate was given 30 minutes of air time to discuss family, goals, biases, faith, and legal questions.

On August 11, 2018 she will interview Mayor Greg Fischer who is seeking a 3rd term. The questions are different with each candidate. Callers have the opportunity to call in questions. There is nothing off the table.

Greg Fischer is husband, father, businessman and native of Louisville and loves his hometown and the people who work hard every day to make it great. Serving as Mayor of Louisville is the greatest honor of Mayor Greg Fischer's public life. That's why he's seeking a third term. His three top goals as mayor have been and remain: making Louisville a city of lifelong learning, a much healthier city & an even more compassionate community. As mayor, Fischer has focused on making sure Louisville's economy is thriving. Since taking office, unemployment has dropped to less than half of what it was when he started, and the city has added more than 72,000 jobs and 2,500 new businesses. Louisville has seen $13 billion of capital investment, with approximately $1 billion of that construction taking place in West Louisville. Mayor Fischer and his team also have created programs to ensure that everyone in Louisville has the opportunity to gain the skills they need to succeed in a diverse economy like Louisville's, not just those with four year college degrees.

Mayor Fischer's opponent is Republican candidate Angela Leet. Her interview is scheduled for August 25, 2018.

The series will continue until November 2018 with judicial candidates
