The Rover with VacPac is Released by CPS
CPS has just released their latest innovation, the Rover with VacPac, a ride-on concrete grinder with an on-board vac, designed for efficiency and consistency.
A majority of the cost of doing business lies in the labor and labor related costs. Hotel rooms, per diem, wages, insurance, and more drive up the cost of any project. Add in downtime, machine issues, and worker fatigue and the costs continue to multiply.
David Padgett, Concrete Polishing Solutions CEO, said CPS innovation has always revolved around saving time and money for contractors, while delivering on safety and quality. In fact, the concept for the Rover with VacPac came about from his days on the contracting side of the industry.
Over the years, it became clear to Padgett that a small platform, self-contained unit could revolutionize the problem of operator fatigue, increase production, and decrease the number of crew members necessary on each job, freeing up labor for adding second or third crews and increasing business and profit.
Each feature on the CPS Rover with VacPac has been designed and tested to save time and money on the job. The propane power source, onboard battery systems, and onboard vacuum are designed to remove any need for managing cords and hoses on the job site. A 17-gallon water tank that feeds an automatic mister and a gravity fed system makes wet grinding a breeze with less need for refills on the job site.
The platform seat and joystick controls allow the operator to focus on the job at hand without fatigue, keeping them comfortable, but in touch with the floor. Onboard lights make for easier assessment of the floor's condition, even in low lighting.
Reducing fatigue and lowering the number of crewmembers needed for each job aren't the only benefits of the Rover with VacPac, however. The Rover achieves a more consistent cut with onboard cruise control settings for multiple grinding and polishing applications and the stability of the machine means less movement and more grinding power.
This zero-turn, ride-on with onboard vac is perfect for projects small and large. With a $39,900 price point for the Rover, or a $44,900 price point for the Rover with VacPac, and a production rate one and a half times faster than traditional manual grinders, the Rover with VacPac is sure to be the machine to save you time and earn you more on every job.
