ORing Launches Our First 19-Inch Rack-Mount Switch for Railway Market

HSIN TIEN, Taiwan - Aug. 7, 2018 - PRLog -- ORing has launched our first rack-mount railway switch which is specifically designed for railway application.  The switch is compliant with EN50155 standards which meets the strict EMC and environmental requirements for deployment on the trains.

Variety of railway applications including CCTV, PIS and wireless internet access require a high-speed and reliable communication backbone network. Therefore, Ultra-fast and full-gigabit Ethernet switch with ultra-wide operating temperature is mandatory. The TRGPS-9084GT-M12X-BP2-MV with operating temperature from -40°C to 75°C is designed for use in such kind of harsh industrial environments and extremely suitable for railway onboard applications.

As we know, there are so many communication devices need to be installed on board in a very narrow and limited space, the size and form factor become more and more important.  Most of railway devices do not have standard form factors, installation devices in different size might lead to waste space, therefore the standard 19-inch rack mount design for space saving also can stacking and easy to maintain.
