By: The Leap The event seeks to help people who have struggled to identify their purpose and those who feel they are not living the life they were created to live. The daylong conference promises to motivate and help attendees take on the mindset needed for results oriented change. Henton-Jones and Yisrael-Johnson began growing The Leap an online community on Facebook through recorded video dialogues with influential leaders across the country. They wanted to isolate what initially stopped these transformational figures from living the lives they are supposed to live. The common denominator the two discovered---was fear. "We learned that fear was a very powerful and false sense of reality. One of the leaders who is the founder of a non-profit that transforms the lives of inner city girls in Cleveland, OH said she had written down her dream in a journal and did nothing about it for 10 years because she was afraid of the lifestyle change that her dream required," said Henton-Jones. Both Henton-Jones and Yisrael-Johnson found that while fear may have been the thing that stopped people from leaving the job, going back to school, starting that business or developing a healthy lifestyle they became more intrigued with how the leaders overcame fear and took the leap into the lives they envisioned for themselves. "We learned that in most cases it was challenging, unnerving, uncomfortable but they moved ahead in spite of their fear and ironically experienced a great sense of peace," said Yisrael-Johnson, "That's what we want participants to experience, the peace that comes with the decision to live on purpose and walk in your destiny." The daylong event will first help people identify their God-given purpose. Henry County based Master Life Coach, Movie Producer & Author, Min. Chris Scott, will help attendees connect the dots to their purpose. Henton-Jones says, "Sometimes the biggest challenge is not that people don't know their purpose, they just don't know the steps needed to activate and achieve it." Yisrael-Johnson and her husband, Ron, ret. US Marine Corps & LGPC, are also the founders of Committed to the Journey LLC a therapeutic and counseling treatment service. They will help folks understand the action plan needed to achieve their purpose. They will also identify some of the mental health mind fields to prepare for along the way. Millennial Entrepreneur, Alexis Parris, is the founder of a successful podcast and social media content and web development business. Alexis took a non-traditional path to success and she will show attendees how to, 'Leap into Entrepreneurship.' Former CNN Executive Producer, Atlanta-based, Tenisha Taylor Bell, will lead the catered Power Lunch session and share how her leap is now helping young African American men in Chicago attend technical colleges and universities. "Her story and work are incredibly powerful, gratifying and motivating. She left the trappings of a high-profile television news career to lead a movement that is changing the future for families in her home city of Chicago," said Henton-Jones. Health and wellness are important components to living on purpose. Henton-Jones and Yisrael-Johnson connected with Licensed Trainer & Nutritionist, Markell "MJ" Jackson, a dynamic mind, body wellness coach who created a unique transformational health program called, The Sift. Jackson will remind attendees of that famous quote that says, "A healthy person has many wishes, but a sick person has just one." She will help participants, 'Leap into Health and Wellness.' Cornell McBride works to transform the lives of young people across the City of McDonough through the power of faith and financial literacy. McBride is the CEO of McBride & Associates, a life insurance and financial consulting group established to help financially educate families. McBride will help attendees understand the rules of money and how to, 'Let Money Leap into their Pockets.' The day will wrap with a training on building right relationships and a stirring motivational experience from the brilliant Min. Patrick Chandler, Co-Founder of the Givers of Light Ministry. The event will include lunch, surprise giveaways and opportunities to build strategic relationships. Doors open at 10:30a.m. and the excitement begins at 11a.m. Tickets are available online at Eventzilla.net http://events.eventzilla.net/ End
