East Lake Academy in Chicago Offers Kids 2018 Summer Field Trips

·        6/27/2018 – Peggy Notebaert Nature Museum – The trip to the Peggy Notebaert Nature Museum is open rain or shine! It's perfect for kids who like to truly get involved with learning thanks to their hands-on science and nature activities. It's an award-winning museum with much to offer.

·        7/11/18 – Donley's Wild West Town – The Wild West was an exciting time, and on this trip, kids can experience panning for pyrite, shooting slingshots, and watching Wild West shows in live action.

·        7/18/2018 – Field Museum – The Field Museum offers kids the chance to see the most complete fossilized skeleton of a Tyrannosaurus Rex ever discovered! They can also see mummies and peer at gemstones in the museum's famed Hall of Gems.

·        8/1/2018 – Lake Forest Parade – The Lake Forest Parade is an annual event celebrating the community, and the students of East Lake Academy are encouraged to participate and represent their school on a unique float!

·        8/8/2018 – Action Territory – Action Territory is a fun and exciting playground filled with activities like bumper boats, putt-putt, laser tag, and more.

·        8/15/2018 – SciTech – The SciTech facility boasts some 200 different STEAM exhibits that show the impact of science, mathematics, engineering, and more. The best part is that each exhibit is completely interactive and provides kids with hands-on learning opportunities.
