Absolute Logic's Al Alper addresses Harvard Club; participates in MIT Cybersecurity panel

NORWELL, Mass. - Aug. 3, 2018 - PRLog -- Al Alper, Chief Executive Officer of Absolute Logic (http://absolutelogic.com) and sister company CyberGuard 360, spoke on the issue of cybersecurity threats at two prominent Boston institutions recently: the Harvard Club, and the Massachusetts Institute of Technology.

Alper is a member of the International Cybersecurity Roundtable, a group of IT professionals from around the world who meet to share best practices, share knowledge and present their findings to business and civic groups. Their membership includes professionals from all hemispheres and that diversity informs the group's mission.  The Roundtable grew out of a discussion from a member-only organization of business, political and education professionals called Blue Label Group.

In this capacity, Alper had the chance to address the topic of cybersecurity at the Harvard Club, and also to lead a question-and-answer session with George Ross, an advisor to President Donald Trump (and former "Apprentice" participant).

The following day, he and his fellow International Cybersecurity Roundtable members participated in a roundtable with a financial securities expert, and they all discussed how cybersecurity would affect the financial services space.

Alper said that he envisions these roundtables occurring every three to six months. "It is extremely beneficial to collaborate with these international experts," said Alper, adding, "We work to bring solutions to the business community and educate leaders on the dangers that cyber threats can pose."
