Valerie's House received $75,000 Grant from 2018 Naples Winter Wine Festival

Grant will benefit Collier County children through Valerie's House grief processing programs near where families live and work

NAPLES, Fla. - Aug. 2, 2018 - PRLog -- Valerie's House has received a second grant in the amount of $75,000 from the Naples Children & Education Foundation (NCEF) that manages proceeds from the Naples Winter Wine Festival.

Valerie's House provides children and their families who have experienced the death of a loved one a safe place to share and experience support with others who are also grieving, while moving through the healing process. The Naples Children & Education Foundation grant funding provides Collier County youth with arts, music and group therapy to help them identify, express, and process grief, to become mentally healthy, stable and successful in school and life in addition to focusing on school outreach through the Valerie's House Schools Awareness Program.

"This award is going to help us grow our grief support services in Collier County to support additional children near where their families live and work."
