The Pirates have signed defensive back Khalid Wooten and defensive end Sam Montgomery.
"As the regular season winds down our goal is to be playing the best football we have been played all year as we head into the playoffs. We have been working hard in practice and really have been trying to focus on some of the smaller details that have been hindering us lately, said Jawad Yatim, President of the Massachusetts Pirates. "We have a different sense of urgency around us these days, as we are all excited to be participating in the Massachusetts Pirates first playoff run. The first step is to handle business this weekend in the finale at home against a hungry Lehigh Valley team looking to finish the season on a positive note. We'd like to play a complete four quarters and build momentum heading into the NAL Semi-finals."
The Pirates final regular season game will be in Worcester at the DCU Center where the team has a 6-1 home field advantage.
