Lynn A. Schmidt of Lynco Financial & Tax Services, Inc. recently attended advanced training in Boston, which included tax-planning concepts and strategies to help her clients write their own history, because tax planning doesn't happen by accident!

BOSTON - Aug. 2, 2018 - PRLog -- Lynn A. Schmidt, EA, CTC is excited to report that she recently attended an advanced training conference held at the Federal Reserve Bank of Boston.  Schmidt attended along with an elite group of professionals who are Certified Tax Coaches and members of the American Institute of Certified Tax Planners.  Lynn is one of only ten Certified Tax Coaches in the State of Florida and the only Certified Tax Coach in Polk County, FL.

"Taxpayers who really want to beat the IRS can't wait for their accountant to work magic with a stack of receipts on April 15," says Schmidt.  "They need a 'plan' for taking advantage of every deduction, credit, loophole, and strategy allowed.  We don't wake up each day planning to fail; however, FAILING TO PLAN could produce the same results!"  This is where a Certified Tax Coach can provide added value for the taxpayer and business owner.

"Traditional tax professionals focus on putting the right numbers in the right boxes on the right forms," says Dominique Molina, a San Diego-based CPA and Director of the American Institute of Certified Tax Coaches.  Schmidt says, "Our program is different.  We don't just help our clients' record history. We help them write it, with a complete menu of advanced tax-planning concepts and strategies."  Schmidt goes on to say "good tax planning does not just happen by accident".

The Certified Tax CoachÔ program focuses on court-tested, IRS-approved strategies for minimizing Alternative Minimum Tax, maximizing deductions from real estate and passive activities, maximizing retirement savings, and similarly powerful strategies. As taxes rise to cover increased government spending and tax laws change, this sort of proactive planning will become even more important not only today, but in the future.

During the two day event, Schmidt had the opportunity to participate in some advanced tax planning strategies that involved topics such as the new Qualified Business Income Deduction (aka the 20% business deduction), tax strategies affecting medical professionals, intricacies of the Cannabis industry, and other advanced tax topics and strategic planning processes.  More information is available online at https://www.LyncoTax.com or http://www.LyncoFinancial.net.
