Verge Health Boosts RWJBarnabas Health's Approach to Patient Safety

CHARLESTON, S.C. - July 31, 2018 - PRLog -- Verge Health, the industry's leading risk management software company for hospitals and health systems, will support RWJBarnabas Health, New Jersey's largest integrated health care delivery system, in moving closer to becoming a high-reliability health system with the full implementation of Verge's Governance, Risk and Compliance solutions onto a single, data-driven platform.

Since 2016, Verge has provided the accreditation and regulatory, patient and employee safety, and peer review components of its enterprise software solution, the Converge Platform, to RWJBarnabas Health. With the addition of credentialing services, compliance rounding and advanced tools for the reporting of events directly through the EMR, the provider will utilize nearly the full range of the Converge Platform solution so that it can proactively manage GRC.

Terms of the expanded contract were not disclosed. The two organizations have already begun work on integrating the additional components of the Converge platform into RWJ Barnabas, and expect completion in early 2019.
