American Medical Depot Joins Women in the Workplace Empowerment Event
Founded in 1991, the Greater Los Angeles African American Chamber of Commerce promotes growth and economic development of the African American business enterprise. The organization fosters a community of focused business professionals at varying levels of career development. The GLAAACC provides many opportunities and benefits to its members, but its specific focus is on four areas of progress:
1. Growing and developing business domestically and internationally
2. Providing information on access to capital
3. Creating networking environments
4. Influencing public policies to make them more favorable to African Americans
As a highly requested speaker and proponent of increasing professional opportunities for small and minority-owned businesses, Ms. Kuykendall brings a healthy mix of personability and genuine passion to the discussion. The panel will include conversation around leveraging the media, seeking out a mentor, and advocating for your own career advancement.
"It is always a pleasure to be in a room of women that comes in with a purpose; They are there to learn, borrow from each other, and teach their colleagues in their own unique way. The surest way to success is to motivate and uplift each other so that we all win together. The Greater Los Angeles African American Chamber of Commerce has created the perfect event for doing just that," said Ms. Kuykendall.
