BASU.COM Donates to the Orinda Association

SAN FRANCISCO - July 27, 2018 - PRLog -- BASU.COM, a Bay Area-based tech company, has donated the eAlarm to the Orinda Association, a non-profit organization with the mission of "maintaining and improving the quality of life in Orinda, promoting awareness and encouraging dialogue among Orinda residents on issues of importance to the community, and mobilizing volunteer efforts to enhance the beauty, character and security of Orinda" (OrindaAssociation.org). Their programs are centered around serving the community, and BASU.COM has donated the eAlarm, America's #1 Emergency Alarm, to the Seniors Around Town program, so that members can use the safety wearable in any emergency.

Seniors Around Town began in August 2005 and has been connecting volunteer drivers to seniors in Orinda who are no longer able to drive and may not qualify for the County Connection LINK system. Seniors can arrange for door-to-door transportation with at least one week's notice to appointments, social events, and errands within the local area Monday through Friday and between 9 am and 4 pm.

Donating the eAlarm to both volunteers and seniors within the program, BASU.COM hopes to provide the members with peace of mind in addition to equipping them with a crime-deterrent safety wearable. Because it can be taken with them everywhere, members of Seniors Around Town can stay safe as they go from door-to-door throughout the day. This essential program improves the quality of life for residents in Orinda who deserve the agency of transportation, and BASU.COM is proud to partner with the Orinda Association as a provider of such a great service.
