Barringer Publishing Signs Author Dr. Tussy Shnider

NAPLES, Fla. - July 25, 2018 - PRLog -- Barringer Publishing is proud to announce that Dr. Tussy Shnider will be publishing her new book, One Congregation's Journey of Change.

The book follows in detail the journey, Temple Shalom of Naples, took to transform their congregation to one focused on values and the sacredness of relationships. It is a detailed guide for congregations of all faiths interested in retaining members by enhancing engagement and connections to each other and to the organization. Dr. Shnider describes the projects undertaken to enrich relationship opportunities among members. She includes a readiness checklist, samples of marketing materials, and letters to members. The author explains how this unique process transitions congregations from an annual commitment, (dues) financial structure to a voluntary pledge system.

Dr. Shnider has enjoyed an accomplished career as a leader in her professional life and volunteer involvement in her community. With a doctoral degree from the The Ohio State University, she has held leadership positions in the Ohio Speech and Hearing Association, the Central Ohio Speech and Hearing Association, the Wexner Heritage House Auxiliary, the Joseph Schoenthal Cancer Ray, and the Ohio Religious Coalition for Reproductive Choice, and the Collier/Lee (FL) Chapter of Hadassah.Dr. Shnider has worked professionally as a teacher of the deaf in the Columbus Public Schools, an audiologist for the Ohio School for the Deaf, and a lecturer at The Ohio State University teaching research, management, and policy courses for graduate students in the College of Social Work.

Dr. Shnider hopes that her workbook, One Congregation's Journey of Change will provide congregation's with the tools necessary for transforming their organizations by focusing on their relational nature.
