Daniel Haight/ Independent Corner Info:

Independent Corner began on 88.1 FM WCRX while I was attending Columbia College in Chicago, Illinois.  It was part of the curriculum to graduate with a radio degree.  It started out by featuring one genre of music a week and then with the guidance and help from the radio department staff, it now plays the best variety of Indie Music from all over the world and in all genres.  It was only 2 weeks into the show when Cindy D'Adamo called me on the phone and it was there that we established our business relationship.  She submitted me artists that she scouted and promoted and soon the roster was growing at a very fast pace.  I put Independent Corner on hold while I made the transition into internet radio to concentrate on developing my radio personality skills.  It then made its return in July of 2010 and today it is still going strong with music being supplied by Ladylake, Deuce Music, Spectra Music Group and now with World Star PR.
